Cricket - Nice to read that ICL is starting their session at Mayajaal, Chennai. It's a lovely ground and the drive on the ECR should be refreshing for the players. The ground also has a small fall kind of set up maybe if its still working players will have a cool time. Wish the Mayajaal authorities allow us to drop in to see our hero's like Lara, Shane Warne n Macgrath along with the famous Pakis practice.
Brain Drain - Read that US is facing reverse brain drain. Isnt that a good news? We in India who always beleived that working in India is much better even if the monetary benefits are not that rosy until recently did expect that many Indians abroad will be lured back not only because of the U.S immigration law but mainly due to the high salary Indians are paid by the local companies. Earlier it was a glamour to go abroad so that their families and themselves can beat their chest thinking that are superior than the people living in India but not anymore. Many of our parents and our families only asked where is he abroad and never asked what job he is doing? That was the glamour living and working abroad brought but not anymore. Now with Indian market booming, high Salaries with increase buying power only lures many back. Not anymore people living abroad looked like a super human but instead we think that he has gone abroad since he isnt able or capable to earn much out in India. Reverse brain is a welcome news and expected one too.
Aerocraft - It was wonderful topic on aerocraft. The write up on India times comparing it with Hindenburg is wonderful. The cruising altitude of Hindenburg being only 750feet it would have been wonderful to see the city in such close quarters. Aerocraft is much advanced in technology as one should expect living in this era. 750feet? isnt it true in chennai kites fly higher thatn this? At that height we will be a lovely companion to the eagles which I rarely see circling in the sky like before. In Bangalore, at dusk hundreds of eagles circle and living in a terrace house, its great to watch these birds. Hope Bangalore manages to keep these birds in the centre of the city like now and not push them to the forest side.
